Missions are Our Mission, Our Motivation is Love, Our Inspiration is Christ
Welcome to our In Memoriam Page. Our memories are what keeps alive in our hearts
the wonderful things we have experienced in our lives. We hope to include on this page
some of the memories of our members who have passed from our everyday lives, but never
from our hearts.

If you have a memory of a church member who has passed on and would like to share it
with us, just e-mail us and we will do our best to include it here. We do ask that these memories
be limited to church members or those that were immediate family of church members.

William Allen "Woody" Wood

"The time a person spends sailing is not deducted from a mans life span"

We have been truly blessed to have known William Allen Wood. Each Sunday morning, unless he was visiting his family or out on the water sailing, he would sit in the 4th pew on the right side of the church. Mr. Wood was a faithful, dedicatedloyal, energetic, patient & friendly gemtleman.

What a role model he was to all of us. He applied his skills as a sailor to his life as a christian. He lived his live on landas he did on the water. He held tight to the wheel, steadyas she goes, mapped the course, had a mission, checked the conditions and enjoyed the trip.

Allen Wood loved the Lord His shared his last meal (communion) with his daughter & Pastor. He was observed smiling at the "meal", possibly knowing his earthly course was done. His 27ft. Tartan has docked.

We are so pleased to have know "Woody" and been graced by friendship & company here in Delanco.
Grace & Peace
