Session gives notice that on Sunday, February 9th, 2014, after worship, we will hold our Annual Congregational Corporation Meeting to approve the 2014 Budget and to approve the Audit Committee for next year. Please plan to attend. Immediately following the Congregational Corporation Meeting, we will have our monthly Covered Dish Luncheon in the fellowship hall. I think that is all for now. If I think of anything else, I will let you know as soon as I think of it. Many thanks for all you do. We really appreciate all your efforts and all your assistance in doing the newsletter! Pastor Lynne
Our Needs & Wants
Whenever I'm disappointed with my spot in life, I stop and think about little Jamie Scott.
Jamie was trying out for a part in the school play. His mother told me that he'd set his heart on being in it, though she feared he would not be chosen.
On the day the parts were awarded, I went with her to collect him after school. Jamie rushed up to her, eyes shining with pride and excitement.. 'Guess what, Mom,' he shouted, and then said those words that will remain a lesson to me.
'I've been chosen to clap and cheer.'
God doesn't always supply what we want, but He does always supply what we need.
" Inspired by God and Christ centered, we worship,
study, serve, and we invite all to share our faith
as we follow with enthusiasm our leader,
Jesus Christ "
